Environmental management - ISO14001
As an environmental management company OSS Group is committed to minimise the volumes of waste produced. We are continually investigating and researching new and innovative methods for the treatment and recycling of the various waste streams we receive/collect.
We hold ISO14001 certification for all our processing sites and transfer stations. This certification covers waste management services, specialising in the collection of waste oil for recovery and sale as a fuel, and the collection and disposal of associated garage waste streams.
As such, the ISO14001 certification covers all waste management and recycled fuel oil production activities across the OSS Group. ISO14001 is an internationally recognised standard that specifically relates to the management systems in place to reduce the environmental impact of the business.
Compliance with ISO14001 demonstrates to existing and potential customers that the OSS Group has procedures in place to ensure that the management of waste oil and special waste collection and processing has a minimum impact on the environment.
