Fuel oil sales
OSS uses its own specially constructed refinery to reprocess and treat waste oil. Through the refining process OSS produces three innovative fuel oil products for industry.
NexGen™ - represents the next generation of clean fuel oils. It is a new recycled fuel oil, produced to the same BS 2869 specification as virgin fuels and offering savings of around 10% over virgin gas oil and light fuel oils.
CFO® (Clean Fuel Oil) - is a residual fuel oil produced to BS2869: 2006. It is indistinguishable as a product from virgin fuel oil and offers significant cost and environmental benefits.
RFO (Recycled Fuel Oil) - provides an extremely economical alternative to virgin fuel oil. Unlike CFO®, RFO is classified as a waste which means that it is subject to the Waste Incineration Directive (WID). This in turn means its use is restricted to customers who are WID compliant.
